As statistics indicate it very well might. If people’s feelings were exploited once by a book I don’t see any reason why it can’t be repeated by a movie. Will it become Ron Howard’s best work done by him? I certainly hope he will come out with something better than this. How closely events in the movie are replicating those in a book? It looks like precisely and accurately. Are historical events, places and characters depicted in “Da Vinci Code” historically accurate? All geographical places are real. Historical characters and events – it is up to a level of one’s believes. Is Tom Hanks good as a professor Robert Langdon? Well, for me he looked more natural as a man in charge of an E- block in “Green Mile” or captain Miller in “Saving Private Ryan” And the last question - Is it worth to watch it? No, but I was saying it to myself when I was reading a book as well until I had finished. Lynda Wise |
