As usual the best way for me to give you quick hints about the
movie is to answer my own Questionnaire

Is this movie a good movie to watch overall?
Definitely yes, no question about it. This is a nice solidly made
masterpiece and it definitely matches highest Hollywood
standards.

Will this movie be watched with real interest in 50 years from now?
Probably Cinderella Man is not from that long time survivor
category.

Is it one of the best movies of Ron Howard?
No, but it is definitely not the worst one thinking about Apollo 13
as the one.

Why Cinderella Man is considered a financial failure?
Who knows, it very well might be people just don’t want to watch
a time of Great Depression; it is very discouraging and
depressing.

Is Jim Braddock the best roll of Russell Crowe?
I don’t think so, however Russell is (as always) up to all
expectations put on him by producers, scriptwriter, director and
an audience of course. Nicely done.
